التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم في شرم الشيخ مع السيد موسى فقيه، رئيس مفوضية الاتحاد الأفريقي.
وصرح المستشار أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن اللقاء شهد التباحث بخصوص أبرز الملفات المطروحة على أجندة الاتحاد الأفريقي، خاصةً ما يتعلق بالتكامل الاقتصادي والاندماج الإقليمي، والسلم والأمن، والإصلاح المؤسسي للاتحاد، حيث تم التوافق على استمرار التعاون والتنسيق الوثيق بين الجانبين في هذا الصدد، في ضوء كون مصر إحدى الركائز الأساسية الهامة لدفع العمل الأفريقي المشترك، وسعياً نحو تعظيم الاستفادة من الدور المصري السياسي والتنموي، بما يخدم مصالح القارة الأفريقية على نحو فعال.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The Spokesperson for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said the meeting focused on the most prominent dossiers on the agenda of the African Union, particularly economic integration, regional integration, peace and security and the Union’s institutional reform. There was an agreement on continuing close cooperation and coordination between the two sides in this regard. This comes in light of Egypt’s status as one of the major cornerstones for advancing joint African action, and in an effort to benefit from Egypt’s political and developmental role for the service of the African continent in an effective manner.
